About the AI Background Remover
The AI Background Remover separates the main subject of a photo from its background automatically. Upload a picture of a person, product, pet, car or object and, within seconds, you get a clean cut-out with a transparent background, ready for online stores, profile pictures, presentations, thumbnails and graphic design.
Unlike most background removal websites, this tool does not upload your photo or use a paid API. It downloads a compact open-source neural network (U²-Net, about 5 MB) once and runs it directly in your browser with WebAssembly. After the first use, the model is cached and works even faster.
After removing the background you can keep it transparent, fill it with any solid color (for example white for e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon and Daraz), or replace it with a soft blurred version of the original photo for a professional portrait look. The edge sharpness slider lets you choose between softer, natural edges and crisper cut-outs.
