It reads all standard QR codes, including website links, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, email and SMS codes, and it also tries inverted (light-on-dark) codes. Before opening any link from a QR code, check the decoded address carefully: this tool shows you the full content first, which helps protect you from malicious "quishing" (QR phishing) links. Images and camera frames are processed locally and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Why can it not find my QR code?
Make sure the whole code is visible, in focus and not too small. Cropping the image around the QR code often helps.
Is using the camera safe?
Yes. The video is analyzed in real time inside your browser and is never recorded or transmitted.
Can it read barcodes too?
This tool reads QR codes only. Standard product barcodes use a different format.
