About the Text Diff Checker
The Text Diff Checker compares two blocks of text line by line and highlights exactly what changed. Lines that were removed from the original are shown in red with a minus sign, new lines are shown in green with a plus sign, and unchanged lines stay neutral so you can follow the context.
It uses the longest common subsequence algorithm, the same idea behind tools like Git diff, to find the smallest set of changes between the two versions. Writers use it to compare document drafts, students compare essay revisions, lawyers check contract edits, and developers compare configuration files or code snippets. Options let you ignore whitespace and letter case so only meaningful changes are shown.
