About the Countdown Timer
The Countdown Timer counts down from any time you set and plays an alarm when it reaches zero. Enter hours, minutes and seconds or tap a preset: 1, 5, 10, 15 minutes, one hour, or 25 minutes for the popular Pomodoro productivity technique. An animated progress ring shows how much time is left at a glance, and the remaining time is also displayed in the browser tab title.
Switch to full screen to use it in classrooms, exams, meetings, presentations, workouts, cooking or game nights. The timer is based on the system clock, so it stays accurate even when the tab is in the background. Remember to keep your device volume on to hear the alarm.
How to use the Countdown Timer
- Enter the hours, minutes and seconds, or choose a preset.
- Click Start.
- Pause and resume any time; Reset restores your chosen time.
- Hear the alarm when time is up.
