The randomization uses the Fisher–Yates shuffle with a cryptographically secure random source, so every possible order is equally likely and results cannot be predicted. Just paste your names, one per line, and click Randomize.

Frequently asked questions
Is the picker fair?
Yes. It uses a cryptographically secure Fisher–Yates shuffle, so every item has an equal chance of being picked.
Can one person be picked twice?
No. Winners are taken from a shuffled list, so each item can only be selected once. Remove duplicates from your list first if needed.
How are team sizes decided?
Items are dealt one by one into each team in turn, so team sizes differ by at most one.
