About the Sign PDF
The Sign PDF tool lets you add your signature to contracts, agreements, forms, invoices and letters without printing and scanning. Create your signature by drawing it with your mouse, finger or stylus, typing your name in a handwriting style, or uploading a photo of your signature.
Click anywhere on the document to place the signature, drag it into position and resize it with the handle. You can also add the date, your name or initials with the Text tool. The signed PDF is created entirely in your browser, so your signature and documents are never sent to a server.
Note: this tool adds a visual electronic signature. Some legal processes require a certified digital signature with a certificate; check the requirements for your document.
How to use the Sign PDF
- Drop the PDF you need to sign.
- Draw, type or upload your signature and click Use signature.
- Click on the page to place it, then drag and resize it.
- Click Save & download PDF.
